About making a kid

I am trying to make a backup of final fantasy X, but I have a problem or I don't understand how the kid fully works, or what it is exactly for.

For what I have understood you make the kid and then copy it in a cd. But what is the purpose of that cd, it only takes 7 MB of memory, it can not be the game.

Is it to be able to copy the game or what?

Can someone please help me little, I am confused.

Thank you, greetings.

it's kit, not kid, and the purpose is to remove "unneeded" files to make it fit to a cd.
FFX can not be ripped to cd, period. the DVD is full (4.5 GB), and you'd have to remove all movies and music.. which would make the game simply unplayable cause alot of things are done with FMV, including necessary information.

Well can any one then give me a clue of another question, I am trying to copy an image of another game to my computer with the cdrwin but every time i press start it gives me an error message saying that it can not read it. Is there any way to make my stupid cdw-r to read the dvd games. Ive tried all the possible burning programs and they all seem to fail...

I need some clues, if any one could help I would appreciate it, thanks

it's physically impossible for a cdrom/cd burner to read or write DVDs of any format. you NEED a dvd-rom to read them, or a dvd-r writer to burn them.
