Warlock is on a distinguished road
Insert the GS2 CD1
Power off the PS2 for 5 seconds
Press and hold the reset button - machine will boot,
Menu screen will appear,
Let go of reset - tray will eject and stay open for 4 seconds
LEAVE THE GS2 CD IN and let the tray close.
Select START GAME,
Select WITHOUT CODES,
Tray will again eject,
Swap GS2 disc with your PS2 backup and close tray, press 0 and L1, game should boot...I havent copyed NBA Street yet but this is the EA boot sequence used when using a Gameshark V1.8 or better and the neo2.2 modchip. Works for me!!

I used cdrwin w/ no patch, then cdrwin w/ patch, and it said it was successful!

If I use CloneCD do I need to patch it?

and what if I press O+L1 and it goes to the main menu do i have to turn off the ps2 and start over or can i just go start game, w/o codes and insert the game.

HI,

If you use CLONE CD you wont have to patch it. This game seems to be giving you alot of gip. Have you tried the booting method that Warlock posted above???

At the end of the day just keep trying different methods till you crack it. You will get there mate!!!!

Region X makes the DVD player multiregional and can be picked up at shops like HMV.
It also has the added bonus of being able to boot backups in congunction with a MOD chip.

cant you try the backup on a mates ps2??? can you get hold of a different boot cd like a REGION X or lower version GS

I really dont know why your having this problem with NBA STREET its a simple copy from CLONE CD and just boot using the EA method. You can boot other EA games with no worries.....

Very confused!!!!!

Dal,

Does the REGION X take the place of the Gameshark2 disc?
I am in Canada. Would it be available here?

If so, what version of REGION X should I get and what are the booting methods for normal and EA games?

Thanks again
