DOES ANYONE HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE GAME CRASHES/ LOADING?

Hello,

Yes I have a problem with this game and also with the patch wich i downloaded form the GCW site a few days ago. When I tried the game it started perfectly untill i wanted to start a new game. The program wanted to go online and tried to make a connection. It didn't succeed so i stopped the internet connection but my mouse appeared (and acts) as an arrow and didn't work.

After that, i tried to go on-line first and than start a new game. It worked perfectly but it is a little costly because of the telefone connection.

Perhaps you have the same problem ?

NO, THE GAME GETS TO A POINT (SINK THE SUB) WHERE ON COMPLETION IT FAILS TO LOAD THE NEXT LEVEL.

So as i understand correctly, you can play the game.

Do you use a back-up cd with a patch ?

If so please give me the location where i can download that file. The file from GCW does strange things with my back-up cd.

To play the game offline rightclick on the Internet Explorer Icon on the desktop, select properties.
Click on the connections tab and then choose
"Never dial a connection"
After click the OK button.
Now you can play the game without going online.

If have tried it but the problem has not been solved. Everytime a connection is made and my mouse remains the arrow instead of the hand it should be (it appears in the left upper corner).

People say it's a great game. I still have to see it.
