Icewind dale cd2 wont backup ARRRGGGHHH!!!

could someone please give me a few pointers here....I`ve managed to back up cd1 of icewind dale but cant get cd2 to backup successfully, it keeps saying please insert original cd. *kicks pooter* I need a backup of icewind dale cos my 3 kids have access to the pooter and games and i dont wanna have to go buy yet another copy of anything. *sobs* I`ve followed the directions to the letter, but what i dont get is why cd1 backed up and installed with no problem but cd2 wont play at all.....*kicks pooter again* any help would be much appreciated PUHLEEEEEEEEZE!!!!! *smiles tearily*
