Yeah, its like this…the old dump-then-rebuild using Risc's unSafedisc programs wont work on 1.40.

Obviously.

Now we have established that, it seems they changed it because they know people are doing the dump'n'rebuild routine with the patches.

Okay, so what we need is a new version of the unSafeDisc – that's all, no other protection need be broken in order to play the game, so long as you got a valid key.

I think they simply rearrange the patch exe so that when Risc's dumper is run on the patch, it simply misses the point…thus = "random error :-)"

Indeed the humor here is that the guys know that when the USD2 protection is altered they have to re-release the dumper-rebuilder combo, yet again :-) heh.

Any good news 'bout this new UnsafeDisc? Hope soon ;] I'm sure u guys will finally pop up with solution satisfying the masses ;]
