Help me out with Ghost Recon no cd pleeeeease!

Well I installed ghost recon and tried to play but it said install correct cd rom s then I downloaded no cd patch and applied, but now when i try to play an error message comes up saying ghost recon has caused an error in ghost recon.exe. Anyone know what I did wrong and how to fix it. Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
