Diablo 2 : Lord of Destruction CD-Copy

Ok, I know this must have been asked about a million times before but I am going to ask it again.

I am a novice at making backups of CDs and would like to know how to copy D2:LoD.
I have a Creative 12 10 32 CD-RW and no CD-Rom, so I have to make a CD Image file on my HDD before I can copy it onto the disc. I am currently using NTI CD Maker 2000. I a quite sure that this is insufficient and would like to know which program I should use.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

If you haven't cd-rom then use cloneCd to backup your original cd and be sure to activate "hide cd-r media" on the cloneCd taskbar. With this you should able to copy this game and to play it.Be sure your cd-r makes copies with subchannel data or you could do a running backup of your game.
