WHICH CD ROM RECOMMENDED FOR CLONE CD?

Ok what I want to update my cd-rom. What is your advice on quality cd-roms to purchase ?
Also, what settings do you recommend for clone cd when creating an image file for daemon tools?

I recommend using your Cd-writer to read the image file because it can usually handle the protections better.

As for settings, these change with the different protections. Get a copy of Clony which will scan the CD and tell you what protection is used and the settings to use in Clone CD.

People at Elby (CloneCd software house) recommend Toshiba DVD readers, 'cause they are able to handle subchannels data. Check it at their home page (personally, that dvd reader will be my next buy ).

Hi folks....i have a toshiba reader and i strongly recomend it.It reads everything and at high speed.Sub channel data are included and wrong sectors are bypassed at high speed. For example...laserlock protection which a big round into the cd takes 3 min or less to be copied.Althought ny cd-r (yamaha 4416 takes 30 min to do the same)
