Still some fades

My friends and I used the patch method that I had posted before (note, it has been corrected. I had a link to the wrong file posted...sorry guys) and had mixed results. When I was playing, I never had fade, but one friend, who used the same patch method, got fade. I cannot explain it, nor will attempt to. We finally got so frustrated with it, we went out and bought 5 copies of the game.
