Operation Flashpoint and Game Degradation....

Hey everyone,

I noticed during startup of Operation Flashpoint that it says game performance will degrade if you use a cd other than the original. Is this referring to the "FADE" I've read so much about and if so what exactly is it.

I'm probably going to get laughed at but how long do I need to play before I notice this game degradation..... (I can't stay alive more than 5 minutes....haha)???? Thanks for the help in advance.

I got the patch installed now but when I replace the EXE it gives me a "Cannot Create 3d Device" error... any ideas?

K I got it installed ok with the patch and it works..... I just have no idea what to look for as far as "FADE" is concerned.... any suggestions?
