Is your writer the USB "miniRW"??

If it then it will do 1:1 of SD2 titles.

Download CloneCD (search for it) and ClonyXL (from GameCopyWorld above). Run ClonyXL and this will pass on the correct settings to CloneCD for you.
Write at a low speed (4x) and you should be okay. If that doesn't work 'cos your burner doesnt do SD2 properly, then download Daemon Tools from the above link and run it. You can then mount your CloneCD image of Max Payne and run without the CD.

Hope this helps.

P.S. for future reference, do a search of this forum first as your question may have already been answered. In the very least, you will pick some useful info.

As far as I know, right now CloneCD doesn't support ANY USB burners. That may have changed though in the last update or two, though, so don't hold me to it.

you know, no need of anything, able to play on its own.

as for *miniRW*, crispy, dont quite get you, can you elaborate further?
the one im using is a usb acer crw 4406eu.
how bout one from hp cd-writer plus 7200 series, i also got that...

i will try the clonyXL as you've mentioned, i tried to use clonecd before, but it tells me that sub somethings arent supported on my burner

thx for the tips.

PS: whats with this extra cd having hi-res intros? how come i dont have one like that from the one i bought, all i got was 1 cd & the mousepad.

CloneCD site lists a USB Acer, but only one.
http://elby.org/CloneCD/english/cdr_a.htm#ACER

Unfortunately I don't see your writer listed. Andy your HP won't do SD2 either. If you're serious about backing up lots of your original games, then a writer capable of sd2 and subchannel would be of benefit. Check the link above for a list.
