Yo Klown, this is the same problem that I am having. If you get an answer or solve your problem please let me know. Also what program/utility are you using to attempt the creation of the backups?

Firstly chaps. can you please give as much info as possible when looking for help...e.g. burner, software, version of game, and exact problem you have.

Secondly, @Viper, I assume you are using CloneCD?
Okay, Op Flashpoint is Safedisc2, a tough nut to crack. You need certain hardware to copy it (Phillips based). Also, part of it's protection mechanism is intentional errors on the CD which the reader won't read. So you get your "failed to read" report. That is normal.
I suggest you get "Clony XL" from GameCopyworld, and test your cd first to ascertain what protection it is. Clony will then pass the parameters over to CloneCD.

You will also need to check if your burner can write DAO-RAW so to copy Safedisc1 correctly. (and also check if it can do SD2 by correctly writing EFM).

Check out www.elaborate-bytes.com (clone home page) and look for your burner.
Also check out www.daemonshome.cjb.net for the best emulator of copy protections, and info on copy protections as well.
