Can't get new games to run Since I downloaded SAFEDISK (Playback21)

I was wondering if someone could help me out with the Crazy Cowz playbackup 21. I just purchased 2 brand new games (Original Myst3 and Max Payne) and I cannot get them to ####tup. I know it has something to do with playbackup 21(image patcher) because I just had to do a total system recovery on my computer and afterwards I tried to play these 2 new games, and they both ####ted up fine. But then I tried to play some of the games I made backup files for and they would not run. So I then reinstalled Playback 21 and now they work. But now the 2 new games don't run. I think it has something to do between Demoshield32 (because I used to get a error message about Demo32) and Playback21. I have tried disabling it and then ####ting the games but that doesn't do anything at all.
Is there a way to fix this or is there a better image patch program to use?

Had the same problem buddy...Do this to fix it.

Click on the ZIP FILE again, It'll give you the option to Install or Un-Install, Obviously...UNINSTALL IT !!! Doesn't work with the new Safedisk 2 copy protection.

You'll be fine now !!

I have one more question now.
When I reinstal Playback21 will I be able to play the backup game disks? Using the same copied files and all the saved games?
Thanks!

I've heard that some games (usually the new ones), have PlayBackup 'blacklisted', so if you're playing a game with it running, whether it's real or not, it won't run.

For new games you could try Insektors or some other new emulator.

not sure
Send a message via ICQ to not sure
please do not use playbackup or insektors, they get no support.
i heard a rumor once they were actually made by macrovision employees to screw over people that copy games.

goto www.daemon-tools.com, LEARN how to use fastdump, and every protection so far is easy to make work with any cdreader and writer.

this is confirmed with me because i have a store close that rents pc games, and i have them all!

have fun!
