Someone, please help with D2LOD Install!!!

I think the problem may be that I have a burnt D2 playdisc, but here goes...

After clicking on upgrade, it says insert "play" disc, I put it in, and it ####ts install, a while into it, It says insert "play" disc again, after its still in there. I tried taking it out, and putting it back in, but it did nothing but say insert "play" disc. Is it because of the burnt disc, or something else?
