B&W new patch and old no-cd

There's got to be a way of modifying the new patch (or any that are forthcoming) to work with an already no-cd version. Hell, someone did it with the Sims I do believe. Would it be possible to use the Installshield CAB utility (v.02) to extract the files from the patch and just copy them manually to the B&W directory?

I hope that can be done too. My old no-cd worked just fine, the patch no-cd doesn't work with me.. Did I do something wrong??

When I ####t the game by clicking on the nocd runblack.exe, the lionhead windows opens for a second and then exits. Which leaves me back in the explorer...
