How do I get help in getting an interest for someone to make a NOCD patch for a game that doesn'

How does one get someone/encourage someone to make a NOCD patch for a game that appears not to have one?

I bought a game, Multiplay VideoPoker (Action Gaming, ditributed by Masque) and as far as I can tell there is no NOCD patch for it.

Well, I don't know this game but why don't you try the following: ##### out what cd protection the game
has. Tools like WDasm and SoftIce and any good HexEditor are also very useful talking about a cd c h e c k.

Just tell us more about the game: which protection, how old is the game, which error messages do occur when you try to ####t the game without the cd ... just all info you can gather !!

I have no clue as to how to find out what protection it has, alas. I am really a neophyte here. If there are any scanners I can use to detect cd protections, I'd love to ##### them out

The game, Multiplay Video Poker is recent, appx 6mos old if that. The error message that crops up is CDROM Required (window bar title) Please insert the CD containing Multiplay Video Poker

Then there's a OK and Cancel button.

I did ##### out some WASM tutorials to look for the error string in the mpvp.exe but could only find the error string in the mpvp.dll

If anyone would like to help me figure this out, I'll send the .exe and .dll. Thanks.

Nope. Doesn't work. The cd ##### needs to be edited out of either the .exe or .dll - and since I have no idea how to do it and there is no place I can find on the Net to contact all those people that NOCD patch programs I think it's going to a looong wait until someone patches it *sigh*
