An executable game file is the one that ####ts your game going and the reason you want to replace an executable is so that you can play your game without the CD #####s. Whenever you install a game, there will be an executable file.
To replace a game executable file, you first have to do a full install of the game. Secondly, you need to find a "crack", which is a modified executable file for your particular game. Such game "cracks" can be found here at GCW. Nifty people send them in all the time. Then you take your game "crack" and just paste it into your game directory that has the original executable file from when you did your install and overwrite.
You should as a matter of precaution, make a copy of your original executable file and put it in a folder. Label the folder - Original .exe - something like that so you always have a copy just in case.
Hope this helps. I tried to do it without the sarcasm and arrogance you usually get here.
