The settlers IV - language ?

When I patch/crack the game the language changes from Danish to English. Is there anything I can do?

Hi,
use the language changer (miscdata2.cfg) from GCW, and modifiy the entry for the language.

language=1 (german)
language=? (danish)
I think it was 8

I can't get it to work because I don't have such a file in my Settlers folder... You seem to know settlers, do you know how to do?

I don't get an error message when I ####t the game, but in singleplayer when I ####t one of the race campaigns I get a message which says "please put the Settlers IV cd into the CD-ROM drive" or something...

Please help me, because I like the game really much.

I had a english copy of the game, and that worked fine, but when I loaded a game, 90% of the times Settlers told me "C++ Error, cannot load game" or something and threw me back to windows...

you must DL the file from ####://www.gamecopyworld.dk/games/files/s4_langchng.zip
or
####://gcw.fdns.net:8095/games/files/s4_langchng.zip
Copy the miscdata2.cfg file in the config folder and change the language setting.

For your second prob:
-Replace the original S4_MAIN.EXE in the \EXE folder.
-Create the following directory: <GameDir>\S4
-Copy the following directories from the <CD>\S4 directory to: <GameDir>\S4
-MAPS (+campaign dir)
-VIDEO
-SND

I found out the prob... I had just copied the MAP dir to the S4 folder... And it only included the "random maps" and the multiplayer maps and the tutorial... not the campaign and the "race campaigns"
