Looking for a Program to split a DIVX movie...

I have ripped a dvdmovie to DIVX and i want to split it into 2 parts
to burn it on a cd.

I use avichop on my win98 pc,but now that i have XP it doesn`t work anymore.
Is there someone who knows a good program that work with XP??

TIA,
Laza.

you will be able to see the movie if you just move the movie forward with your mouse and then just "klik" to the start again.
this happened because you split the movie from "save segmented avi". there is also another way much much easier with virtualdub again. 1.open the avi file
2. go video and chech direct stream copy
3. go to the frame you want the movie to be cut
4.press now edit/ set selection end
5. now go to the the start of the movie
6. press edit/ set selection start
(your selected part will now turn blue at the bar )
7. press file/save old format avi.
That's it
now your first part is made
to make the 2nd part do the following:
1.open the avi file
2. go video and chech direct stream copy
3. go to the frame where you ended the first part
4.press now edit/ set selection start
5. now go to the the end of the movie
6. press edit/ set selection end
(your selected part will now turn blue at the bar )
7. press file/save old format avi.
That's it.

I can email you a tutorial on how to do this if you like.
Hope I helped
