desperados

Is there anyone knowing how to copy desperados.
When i was trying to make an image with several burning programms (clone cd, blind read, disc juggler, cdrwin) none of these progs could make this image.
The try to disable the laserlock with ll32ICA failed.
What can I do?

Hi,

Alright.You need a working no cd patch...u shoudl be able to find one around here.Of course it needs to fit to your version of the game (US, ger, UK...) blah...

Then you copy the whole content EXCEPT FOR THE HIDDEN LASERLOCK DIRECTORY from the orig. CD to
C:\Desperados (copy).

Then you install game (full inst.) and replace the crappy exe with the crack.

Hi Phil,

thanks for your quick answer.

I tried it the way you told me, but unhappily it didn´t work.
I used several patches, but every time i wanted to run the game the same shit happened. My PC crashed and began to reboot my system (win 2k, could it be that the patches don´t work with win 2k?).

Well, I think that the best way to handle my problem would be to make an 1:1 copy of the original CD. But I don´t know how to do this. Perhaps you or anyone else have another idea.

Es sieht so aus als sei mein Problem gelöst.

Auf die Art und Weise wie du es beschreibst habe ich zwar schon vorher versucht die CD einzulesen, nachdem aber nach mehreren Minuten immer noch nichts passiert war habe ich es aufgegeben.
Aber jetzt habe ich mal etwas länger gewartet und siehe da ... es hat geklappt. Nach nur 30 min war die CD eingelsen ( Sony CDRX160E).
Gleich werde ich mal noch probieren das ganze zu brennen. Aber ich denke mal daß es jetzt klappen wird.
