The Sims House party

I have backed up HP using CloneCD and the game installs but will not run it stalls after click on play. I can put the original CD and works fine, any sugestions????

yeah, i had the same problem with the original. It is because its copy protected using safedisc. What you need to do is copy the image of the CD on to your hard disk then burn onto CD-R in seperate stage. Hopefully this should work.

i can't back up the hp disc at all how did u do it with clone cd i tried it but with no success, and i also tried the sims hp no cd patch but it took off the hp and left me with just the sims original ...any suggestions feel free to e mail me...

With any of the Sims games/EA Games you need the No-CD patch. I had to use it with my Sims games.

I have now backed up both simcity3000Uk and TheSims with, what seems like success, without the use of no-cd crack. I dont understand how but it works, anyone think im gonna have a problem in the long term?
