I-the ultra newbie-have burned a perfect B & W CD!

I haven't played it fully but it installs and runs properly with sound and everything! You need the no-cd patch for it to work. I am happy. yay.

Well, using the crack defeats the whole point. Any piece of shit burner can burn a cracked game. Only select few burners can make a perfect raw 1:1 copy of SD-2 protected game.

Alright guys, valid point, but I can remember only a few years ago there was no clone cd, plextor/ phillips sd2 compatable burners (no safedisc 2 either i might add) so the only way to back up a game was a no cd or fixed exe. This was always a pain in the a**e, but never the less it works. I only have a 'piece of crap' burner - a sony and its fine apart from sd2. So give him a break. It's a real achievement cracking the code and good on him for shouting about it!
