NHL 2001 - no CD I NEED HELP PLEASE

I have NHL 2001 v. 1.03. The directions with the no cd file say to use the Automatic Updater in the game...i can't find that. Can some one point me in the right direction???

Do a full install of the game. After the game installs it will ask you if you would like to install EA.com Update. Say yes. Update the fuggin game. Copy the fixed EXE or no cd crack into game directory and boom. your on your way!!!!
