Problem with original copy protection

I purchased majesty and discovered a little problem. Seems that the copy protection is so bad that it won't allow many (and I do mean many, the tech forum is full of complaints about it) owners to even play the game. What happens is a splash screen comes up, during this the exe file makes a copy protect check. I'm uncertain which two files are responcible. Let me explain. If you ALT + CONTROLL + DEL you will see a file called clokspl.exe in use but when you get the error, this is after the cd has spun for five minutes and not been read, then you get this error " MAJESTY caused an invalid page fault in
module MAJESTY.ICD at 017f:0050741c.

Sounds like a simple Safedisk copy protection you shouldn't have any problems with it. Download Unsafedisk 1.5.5 and use it to make a fixed exe for the game. Unsafedisk will remove the protection from the majesty.exe so when you start the game it will not display the splash screen, and not check for the protection. You'll have to make a new exe everytime the develepors release a patch. And you will have to keep the orignal exe so you can patch it otherwise the patch won't work. The orignal exe is on the cd any way so that shouldn't be a problem.
