MECHWARRIOR 4 WON'T READ COPIED DISK

Have copied a back up copy of Mechwarrior 4 on a ricoh Mp 7125a using Nero 5.0.3.1 copy CD , the disk copies and the and replacing the MW4.EXE will start the programme mission breifing , but when I hit the launch button get the mesage STOP. this isn't a data disk. Hitting the details button on the messasge bar , I get the information about my computer coming up.
How do I solve this problem ?

i don't think the MW4.exe you used is working probably. Try and make a perfect copy using CloneCD if you can't then use deamon tools to emulate a impefect copy made by nero. To do this tell nero to make a image then burn the image to cd. The cd won't work. Start Daemon Tools and tell it to emulate safedisk protection then the game should work fine. Or just make a image in cloneCD and tell Daemon Tools to run the image striaight of the hard drive, but see the installation is allready 1 gigabtye you may not won't to do that.

Hi,
try it with CloneCD. I think your burner is supported and can make perfect copies of Safedisc protected games Just give it a try. If it works, you dont need a patch Should you fail just write me to [email protected]. I will try to help you
