CD PROTECTION

HOW DOES CD PROTECTION WORK?? HOW CAN THERE BE DATA ON A CD THAT A CDROM CAN READ BUT THAT A BURNER CANNOT BURN?? WHAT IS THE PROTECTION AND HOW DOES IT WORK?

Basically all CDs have a code written on them that cannot be copied by a CD-writer. Then as the game loads, it checks for the code, if it is not there it drops out. All the memory resident programs do is tell the game what it wants to hear, and therefore as the files are the same it loads with no probs! ;D
