Diablo 2 1.04c patch

I'm having difficulty getting this patch to work on both my machines. Can anybody offer any help?

have you tried to use a crack aftert installation, it could solve your problem. maybe you can get 1 at GameCopy World.

I downloaded the official patch from Blizzard, run it and it runs and installs by itself. Everything works perfectly. It even works with Daemon's Tool for No CD. (1.04C is the only thing that works with Daemon's Tool, besides 1.00). In fact, when I used the fixed EXE patch, I've got an error and Diablo would not start. I did a full installation, I don't know if that matters.

The 1.04c crack (a 1.03 hoax) from Ren doesn't work. Have you tried the other real 1.04 crack?
