BOT-CK - is this up your alley???
hi
Erm, regarding Swat3 - and unsafedisc.. I just made a backup using CloneCd - worked a treat - went to run the game and I got a message about : "Unable to run 2D display mode" (or something very similiar)... I then used one of the 'tools' to see what it was protected with, it said SafeDisc R4... Unzipped 1.5.5 and did the works on the files - BUT! I got that error I got ages ago, and I cant remember how I got around it... Basically it said "Windows NT/W2K detected - unsafedisc will now close" - it gave another error message and an 'address' and closed.... I had all this with 'The Sims' but did it in the end? So I cant quite think what I'm doing wrong... I unzipped unsafedisc to a 'temp' dir on my desktop, pointed the file finder to the .icd in the install directory for the game..and then up popped the error.. Am I doing this wrong? or am I doing this right? Thanks for any help Respectfully Robb Meade aka RB |

Kinda weird though, coz I used it about a month ago to do The Sims Living It Large...
I had the same problems for a while, but then it worked? I cant remember if it was anything I did that made it work, or just chance...? |

mmh I don't know but if UnSafedisc say it won't run under w2k it will not run under w2k.
