Tomb Raider 5 no-cd no-work

Hiya! Can't seem to get the no-cd patch to work, can someone spell it out for me. I'm using DirectX 8, will this impede patch?
Any suggestions and tips would be appreciated.

no need for a patch just copy it with nero and select ignore illegal TOC and use a 80min cd
