Diablo 2, Easy full backup

After producing a couple of coasters with Nero Version 5 and Clone CD, I tried Daemon tools with images generated by BlindWrite using the nibble option, success at last! I then successfully installed the game using the images with Daemon Tools. I then ran the game using Daemon to mount the play disc image.

Aha I thought, lets try burning the images anyhow, but I’ll use RW discs this time just in case. I then uninstalled the game and reinstalled using the 3 discs, no problems, no BS, no patches, totally normal install using the CDKey of my originals, now I’ve connected to BNET, received the 1.03 patch and opened an account no probs. REAL backups!!

But its more convenient to use an image with Daemon tools for the play disc than to have the CD drive running all the time, then to start the game just fire up Daemon and mount the play disc image and it fires up by itself!!

BlindWrite Suite
Blind Read 3.0.1.0
Blind Write 0.99.1.0 Beta
Sony CRX-140E 32/8/4 used for reading and writing the discs
