diablo 2

I have the original D2 but would like to make a backup. I copied all 3 ok. But when I came to use the play disk, it indicates that "please make sure the playdisk is in the cd rom drive then click retry". what gives? I am currently using adaptec cd copier v.3.5c. Any help is appreciated.

Diablo 2 uses audio sub channel and the only program I know for it is clone cd. Also only a few cd-writers will write the sub cannel tracks. Check the clone cd compatability at Daemonshome. Also daemons tools will allow your current copies to works as is. There are links from this web site.

Luck

you need to use clone-cd with the following settings for the play disk....

read settings for clone cd:
read subchannel data
read sudchannel audio

write settings 2x speed:
don't repair subchannel audio and data

hope this helps..........
