burning psx games using one drive

I have a problem burning psx games. Everywhere I go to says we need to directly copy and cannot use one drive and I only have a cd-rw drive. Can I burn psx games only using one drive and do I need a lot of patches for the games that I have to make it work, or will it never work?
Please help!!!!

All you do is copy the file to your hard drive and burn it from there, burning a disk from drive to drive is not a good thing, I have a DVD drive and a CD-RW and I always copy to my hard drive and burn from there. You need to do it this way if you are applying a patch, the patch has to be appied to the disk image when it's in a file on your hard drive.

Under whatever software your using look under options or preferences and make sure that your Cdr drive is set up as reader and writer and the software will automatically extract the image to your hard drive and then burn it from there.

Once the image is on your hard drive is when you apply the patch using Cdrwin.
