PSX bootdisc

where do I get the playstation bootdisc. How do I burn it, wat do I use to burn it?does it replace a modchip? Do I need gameshark. I am confused PLEEZ HELP

You can buy the boot disc at psxcopy.com as well as many other sites. As far as burning it I don't believe it's possible to have a working burnt copy as the disc itself would then be missing the same information that regularly burnt games are and so wouldn't work. It does replace the modchip and it acts like a gameshark itself. Some anti-mod games have special codes you can put in to enable them to work and any gameshark cheat code can also be used with the disc. Just so you know there is a special screen that will pop up when you hit the select button once the disc brings up the insert game screen. This screen allows for up to 30 lines of codes to be entered, but they will not be saved and you must enter them each time you want to use them.

You can burn a boot disk, but it's a waste of time because you then need a mod chip to use it. The Boot disk like a gameshark/action replay CDX has a sector thats pressed on and can't be copied.
