Playstation 2 and DVD+RW

Does anyone know if the PS2 can read DVD+RW or DVD+R? Has anyone actually tried booting a game or a movie on the PS2 in this format?

only done it with dvd-r, but i am pretty certain that ps2's wont run anyother dvd format,
to find out for sure visit gamecopyworld.
