Use CDR Win BUT DO NOT READ AND BURN on the fly as this causes errors and will freeze the game play (CDR Win can be downloaded at ####://www.free51.net/crack/c.htm )

thanks for the advice, the first time i tried to burn with cdrwin i got a coaster, which is why i thought it was protected. second attempt i got a perfect working copy. cheers
