I burned NSTC FF9 the way people said doesn't work... and the game runs perfectly?!?

Ok, first of all my CD burner isn't 100% CloneCD compatible.

When I went to try and burn it, both the "dont repair subchannel data" and "DOA-RAW" options were greyed out/unselectable. I was very, very dishearted, and I read about 15 different posts that said you NEED those options in order to burn FF9.

Anyways, I tried it without "don't repair subchannel data" and I burned it in SAO-RAW at 2x. I threw it in my modded PSX, turned it on and...

IT WORKED! I was soooo happy!

I'm almost positive my internal modchip ISN'T a stealthmod. I bought it about 3 years ago, and I'm pretty sure it the 5 wire model.

What gives?

P.S: This was a rented version. The copy I made runs better than the original.
