COPY PS GAME HELP

CAN ANYONE HELP. I HAVE PUT A MOD CHIP INTO MY PS AND HAVE TRIED 4 TIMES TO COPY MY GAMES AND HAVE HAD NO LUCK. THIS IS WHAT IS I AM USING. A ACER 6432A AND MEMOREX CD. I HAV E TRIED TO USE NERO 5.5 I HAVE TRIED CDRWIN AND CLONECD. I HAVE TRIED TO COPY DISK TO DISK. COPY DISK TO HARD DRIVE AND BACK TO CD. WHEN I PUT IT INTO MY PS IT WILL GO AS FAR AS THE (P) SYMBOL AND STOP. MY ORIGENAL WORKS FINE. I HAVE CHECKED MY SODER JOB ON THE MOD CHIP AND IT LOOKS GOOD. ALL THE PROGRAMS SHOW IT DID COPY AND WHEN I CHECK THE SIZE OF AS THE DISK IT SHOWS THE SAME SIZE AS THE ORIGIAL AND ALL THE FILES. I HAVE TRIED TO COPY ( DESTRUCTION DERBY 2) WHICH I HAVE CHECKED AND IT DOESN’T LOOK LIKE IT NEEDS A PATCH. CAN IT ONLY BE THE CHEAP DISK ??? WOULD IT STILL SHOW THAT THE DISK WAS COPIED RIGHT. AND YES MY CDRW IS LISTED WITH THE CDRWIN

You may need to update the burners firmware in order for the acer 6/4/32a to work with the software. you should be running firmware version 6HU for the 6/4/32a. Get the update, if needed, at goldenhawk.com.

I had that problem when I put my mod chip in stealth mode and after I rewired it to standard mode it worked fine.

Hope this helps.

I just wanted to let you know that I have found Memorex CDR's to be very reliable for backing up Playstation games. You didn't say what speed you were reading and writing. I like to read at 1X and write at 2X just to be sure their are no errors.
