Chrono Cross - NTSC to PAL

I have an NTSC version of Chrono Cross and I want to patch it so it works in my PAL playstation. I've downloaded all the appropriate PAL4U, Gamester, PPF etc files from Megagames. I'm supposed to take the .bin and .cue files from the Chrono Cross disc to patch them. However, when I put the disc in my CD-ROM drive, only two very small files show up, and neither of them are the files I want. My computer IS set to show hidden files.
If anybody knows how to make the .bin & .cue files show, or if anyone here has had any success at converting Chrono Cross, help would be appreciated.

I'm more of a PS2 than a PS person. But have you tried the NTSC game? On the PS2, NTSC or PAL backups play in either machine type; some gme play colours OK on the other system, others in B&W or they jump around a bit. If they jump around then they either need patching or you can place a NTSC to PAL convertor between the AV output and the TV (which is what I do).

As to your copy problem, you need software called CDRWin. You need to download the tutorial from http://www.psxcopyworld.co.uk and copy the CD to hard disk with VDRWin. This will produce a BIN and a CUE file. Use PPF-O-MATIC (which you can download too) to patch the BIN file and burn back to CD-R with CDRWin using the CUE file as the pointer.

by the sound of things you need a iso making program to convert your cd's into binary files (.bin). With a iso making program you can turn cd's into cd images which is what you need to do to to patch your cd's, after use a program like daemon tools to make the cd image into a virtual drive then you can burn the patched cd from there

Dude, This thread is 5 years old. Hopefully he figured it out by now
