LG Electronics CED-8081B Cd-Writer

Does ANYONE have this cd-writer (CED-8081B Cd-Writer by LG Electronics)and has had success burning PSX games? If so, how did you do it? What program, what settings and also what brand of CD did you use? These information woudl be VERY useful and would be appriciated. Thanks!!!

Hi,

I have a LG 8080 in my pc at work, and it makes ps1 and ps2 backups no problems. I use CLONE CD to make my backups. Check out www.psxcopyworld.co.uk for a tutorial on CLONE CD

I assume you writer is the newer model of mine or the next speed up??? you should not have any problems making backups.

Goodluck

p.s. I only use Verbatim media, but TDK and SONY will also do the job. Stay clear of cheap media, thats just my opinion.

I agree with Dal, LG (Lucky Goldstar) burners can be very fussy with media, i recommend TDK for best results using CDRWin.
