Hi,
Your need a mod-chip in your PS2 to play your backup. Check out www.playstationmods.com or www.kanection.co.uk You will also need a boot cd a REGION X or Action Replay2 will do the job as a boot cd. Cheers Dal |

If the copy game is playable then as you have said it may be Japanes, then it would be NTSC. The worst that can happen then is that the game may play in B/W. To overcome this, look up the game in megagames.com to find an NTSC-PAL patch and copy the game to hard disk patch the game as per tutorials at megagames; burn the game back to CD. Or else buy a NTSC to PAL convertor box.

Not on my PS2. PS1 backups require a PS1 original to be booted first.

Hi Charlie:
Are you sure about that? Your response towards needing PSX 1 original needed for PSX 2 to boot the copy of the PSX 1 games? Because with mine, some games I insert the copy game first then shut it down for split second and then return it back on and it plays..Only for few of them..Strange enough..Same with Original PSX 1 games..Because due to NeoMod having strange affects on my machine..It thinks the copies are Real and Real ones are copies..Weird! How the NeoMod works.. |
