Tekken Problems...

i could not get tekken copied over to my computer before making a backup for it. it had an error at 78% and would stop. how do i make a backup of it?!!

On the face of the evidence so far provided, it might be that the source disk is damaged. If that's not the case, we need more info. In principle, no CD will fail to copy unless a read error cannot be resolved.

As Charlie mentioned, if there is a read error then the original is probably damaged and therefore no backup can be made.

You could try using Fireburner to make the image as it wont bomb out like CDRWin does when it gets to a damaged sector, instead it will insert zero's where it cant read the information!

This in turn will result in an image file containing some zero's, and as BOT-CK has mentioned a thousand times before, whats the point as no original PSX disc contains zero's, so you will end up with a backup that will fail when it gets to those zero's!

Your best bet would be to get an original that has no errors during the reading session!
