Hi,
You need a Boot CD aswell as a chip, for example a REGION X or AR2 Cheers Dal |

You will also find that there are different boot sequences depending on who produced the game.
Im no expert with PS2 either but i feel Warlock would be able to shed some light on this if he comes accross it.

Hi, we definitely need more info in order to solve your problem. Which chip did you purchase? Who installed it? Do you have a gameshark2 or AR2?? What burner did you use?? What software did you use?? Type of cdr used and what game are you trying to backup????
