cant read whole disc HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

what do i do when i get to the copy progress (read data sectors) and it stops and says read/write error or bad medium detected? what can i do please help. thanks am from the states.

I've had this problem , it seems to be your cd-rom. I have 3 and 1 of mines says that it cant read it, but if i put the cd in 1 of the others it will read it straight through, my advise get another cd rom or test it on a friends machine then buy a cd drive likes theirs if it reads it.

I found that your cdrw drive will read them alot better than a cdrom, on mine anyway, but I did notice that scratches seem to cause that too, so I tried a cd buffer and solved that. Hope this helps.
