How 2 get *actual* NTSC in PAL country

Hi,
Hardcore gamers will go to any lengths to get the best possible experience and so I want NTSC (in my opinion it’s better) despite the fact that I reside in a PAL country.

I want to know if I use a scart/RGB lead with a multi regional TV that transmits both PAL/NTSC (Grundig brand) and play an NTSC game - but use a PAL (mod-chipped) console, what format will the image be displayed in?
I fear that because the console itself is PAL, the image will only ever be displayed as a PAL image but I don’t know. Please let me know if I can get an NTSC image this way, or if my only solution is to buy a (modded) NTSC console as well

Thanx heapz

I have an NTSC chipped console and a PAL TV. PAL backups put PAL signal out the back and NTSC Jap originals and backups put NTSC out the back. Because I have a PAL TV, I have placed an NTSC-2-PAL convertor between the PS2 and the TV which I use when playing NTSC games.

So, if you have a PAL/NTSC TV, then subject to the way in which that TV switches, you shouldn't have any worries, won't need a convertor and your SCART cable should work fine.

What puzzles me is why you're asking? Doesn't it work?
