Converting from PAL to NTSC, do I need a...

Do I need special cables or hardware converters to convert a backup copy of PAL games into NTSC? Will patching do the trick or do I still need the special hardware? I get a Black and white screen and rolling pictures.

yes you need to use a psx scart lead and have to have a compatible tv most tv's are compatible becuse it is cheaper to make them this way
