PS2 Gamesharks?

Ok...i know i need a gameshark to boot up my PS2 back ups, but isn't it just a disc? or is it a thing you plug into the system?

If its a disc, anyone wanna hook a brutha up?????

yea, it's a disk and a shark shaped memory card.
have to buy it. can't duplicate it.
