v3 PAL PS2, so what's tha deal?!?!?

I recently (2 months ago) got my first PS2, a PAL v3 (I guess, since it has 10 screws, no hazard warning and it's SCHP3005).

So, what's the deal with having such an old version??

Basically, what's different with v4 and v5?

Am I missing something?

Should I return it?
