Resident Evil 3 - Problems!!!.....

I am having probs with RE3
I create a bin file with CDRwin and then patch it with PPFoMatic.
I have a phillips based writer so i use fireburner to burn with.
I have no probs burning other patched games this way only RE3 -.p.s I got the patch from megagames (maybe a prob with patch?)
Please Help..

Oke, there are 2 versions of RE3 (pal uk): SLES-02528 and SLES-02529. The patch does only seem to work with 02529. For the other one, there has never been a patch released. And in my hands, the patch that has been released for 02529, doesn't work either...... the game lockes up after "this game containes...blah blah....."
