I am the only one that know this, I have discovered a new boot method for ps2. I named it ea combined method. you use normal ea method, but after the disk trap go back automatically , you press eject, then do the start, no code, press x, at last press eject again. this method works for other games too, like starfighter moto gp, TTT, and R racer.

I have found that with some games oyu have to swap the AR2 disk on the first menu screen, i.e the "start game, select game, option" menu, and then select start game, without codes and 'x', whereas other games you have to swap the disk on the last menu to get them to work, i.e just before you press 'x' for the last time. Of course, EA games you have to use the EA sports method.

I think Quake 3 is one which works only when you swpa at the first menu and Moto GP on the last. Can't remember the rest.

Have found that the Extreme FM CD is very reliable - boots everytime and only 1 menu so no messing around.

Hope this helps - would be interested to hear if this enables you to get games working on your system.

I believe that you may be able to boot it with the regular boot method as opposed to the EA way. I haven't played it in a while, but I know Rumble Racing(EA) is another game that uses the regular boot. I do know that I haven't had any problems with it. Here's a good hint: if you have a version 1,2, or 3 ps2 modded, get yourself a gameshark version 1.3.....ahh what a relief that is.

the problem could be your using nero from experience i would change to clone cd as this is the best method of copying games(or cdr win one of these two will work as i have copied using them)
