Does anyone know where I can find a patch for the pal version of this game?

I am using cdwrin to copy as clonecd is not compatible.

well no matter how I've tried to copy it, basically it doesn't get past the very first screen when switched on. It doesn't even get to the first Playstation black screen.

V J we will be glad to try to help but you need to include a little more info!! did you get read errors with cdrwin? under the error recovery did you click replace errors?? Is this the first game you tried to copy with cdrwin?? Do you have a mod chip??what type of burner do you have because some burners will not copy PSX games. I copyed the US version first try with cdrwin 3.7f and as BOT-CK said no patch was needed.

sorry, I'm kinda new to all this.

I used cdrwin and had no errors what so ever. The burner is a hp 8100 and I've copied previous cd's without any problems. I have the latest style ps1 with an old modchip (pre 99).

Everytime I try to copy this game (3 times) it says that it has copied with no errors, but basically it wont go past the initial sony screen ( it doesn't even get to the black edged playstation screen)

I used cloney to ##### the original cd and it said that it has an "illegal TOC" copy protection.

I also use an HP 8100, CDRWin 3.8d and have never had a problem with Army Men Air Attack.

From what you have said then i suspect that its the mod chip, you mentioned that it is an older mod chip, pre 99, well the ###ne require's the same chip but with different code (MMV3 hex "Multi Mode Version 3").

Get a new mod chip installed with that version hex and that should sort it out.
